Gyalten School in Tibet

- Your name, postal address, contact numbers.
- What month you would like to start i.e. distributions are sent at the end of June and December each year. You can start in any month, however if you would like your sponsee to get the full distribution, you might like to start from the end of the last distribution (i.e. if it currently say, April, you might like to start from January, or if it is say November, you might like to start from July).
- Would you like the confirming letter and photo of the monk you have chosen emailed or posted to you.
- Where did you find out about the scheme
Your child doesn’t receive your contribution directly. It is sent to the Headmaster, Gyalten Rinpoche, and together with the Administration staff, used for food, basic medicines and educational needs for all the students. So in reality, you are helping to sponsor 280 children at Gyalten school. If you want to, extra money, called “Specific Child Donation” can be sent with the distributions at the end of June and December each year. Please be aware that there is absolutely no pressure to do this. This extra contribution will be given to the childs parents or caregiver, with the specific wish to use it for that child.
